Connecting Your LinkedIn Account

During the initial activation of your organizational LinkedIn Learning account, you will have the option to connect it to a personal LinkedIn profile for a personalized learning experience.

Benefits of Connecting Your Profile

  • You will receive a more personalized learning experience with course recommendations based on your job title, skills, and industry.
  • Your learning content will be discoverable within the LinkedIn.com experience (e.g., in your feed).
  • Privacy Note: When you connect your profile, only your learning data will be shared with your employer; no other data from your personal LinkedIn profile will be accessible or shared.

Connecting or Creating a Profile

  1. Connect an existing profile: You will be prompted to log into your existing LinkedIn account.
  2. Create a new profile: If you do not have a LinkedIn account, you can choose the option to "Join now" and complete the form to create a new profile.
  3. Accept and Continue: After logging in or creating a new profile, you will review the privacy policy and click "Accept and continue" to link your LinkedIn Learning account.
  4. Personalize: You may be prompted to select a set of skills you are interested in learning to personalize your account.

If You Choose Not to Connect

If you choose not to connect your personal LinkedIn profile, you will create a separate LinkedIn Learning account that is not connected to LinkedIn.com. If you sign back into LinkedIn Learning without a connected profile, you will need to click "Sign in with your organization account" and use the separate learning account credentials you created.
