What do I do if Google Scholar only has an abstract and not full-text?

Answer

Google Scholar is a good place to search for scholarly resources (articles, conference papers, etc.). You can find Google Scholar at https://scholar.google.ca

Many of the results in Google Scholar will only offer abstracts and not include the full text. To see if the Library has access to the full text, search the article title or journal name in Quick Find.

Alternatively, you can add library links in Google Scholar by following the instructions in this handout.

If the Library does not have full text access, you can request the article to be emailed to you free-of-charge by filling out this Interlibrary Loan Request form.
