I'm a distance student, how do I borrow library materials?

Answer

If you are a distance student who needs books or DVDs from the Saskatchewan Polytechnic library collection:

  • Search Quick Find and ensure that you are logged in by clicking on My Library Card.
  • Click the title of the book or DVD of interest.
  • Click the Request for Pickup link.
  • Distance students need to click the campus where the item is located as the pickup location.  It is okay if you are not actually going to that campus to pick up the item.
  • On the Contact Information line please indicate:
    • your phone number or preferred way for us to contact you
    • that you are a distance student
    • let us know if you want us to ship the item to you or if you want to pick it up (fastest way to get the item is often to pick it up)
    • tell us which campus you would like to pick the item up at if you want to pick it up.

*Please note that the library does not ship materials outside of Canada.
