How do I download EBSCO eBooks?

Answer

Downloading EBSCO eBooks allows you to read the eBooks offline on a portable device or computer. If you would like to read the eBook online, downloading is not required.

EBSCO eBooks can be found in these three databases:

The loan period for most EBSCO eBooks is up to 3 days depending on the license that was purchased. After that time the loan will expire. You will need to download the eBook again in order to read it if it is available.

Computer

For use on a desktop or laptop, you will need to download and install Adobe Digital Editions. Then create an EBSCOhost account and create an Adobe ID. To make an EBSCOhost account click the "Sign In" link in the top toolbar of the database page to start the process. It is also important to "Authorize Adobe Digital Editions App with your Adobe ID."

To download an eBook, click "Full Download." On the pop-up window, choose the "Download Format" and verify if you have Adobe Digital Editions installed before clicking "Full Download."

Mobile Devices

For Apple and Android devices, you'll need to download the corresponding app. See EBSCO online instructions.
