Q. Are there changes to library services during the COVID-19 pandemic?
All Sask Polytech Library locations are closed until further notice.
All item due dates will be extended until after the library is open again. All fines accumulated during this time will be waived.
Saskatchewan Polytechnic Library encourages you to stay home and safe; however, if you feel you must return your library items, you can do so between 8:00-4:30, Monday to Friday (closed statutory holidays). A return bin has been placed at the main entrance (between the front doors) of each main campus (although access into the building is restricted). Please practice physical distancing.
You are encouraged to hold onto your library materials and return them within 2 weeks from the date that campuses reopen.
Holds have been suspended until further notice. Any holds that were ready for pickup will still be available when the library reopens.
Computer labs are closed: Students who do not have access to computers or reliable internet in their off-campus locations should contact firstname.lastname@example.org. Sask Polytech will work to find alternative solutions on an individual basis.
During the closures, library users will have access to chat services between 8 am and 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday. Chat can be accessed here: https://library.saskpolytech.ca/askuslive.aspx
As always, library users can get in touch with us via email at email@example.com
Check out the Writing Support Zoom room, which is available 9:00-4:30 Monday to Saturday.
We are suspending ILL requests for books/DVDs (i.e. physical materials). Please use this form to request articles: https://library.saskpolytech.ca/request.aspx
