Q. What does "check for full-text" mean in a library database?

Answer

The "check for full-text" button looks like this:

It means that the full-text article (or pdf) is not available in the database you are searching.

When you click on the button one of two things will happen:

1. You will be taken to the full-text article in another database.

OR

2. You will receive instructions on how to get the article either in print or by loan from another library (interlibrary loan).
