How do I borrow a book or journal article from another library (interlibrary loan)?

If you need a specific book or article that's not available at Saskatchewan Polytechnic Libraries, please use our online Interlibrary Loan Request form where it will be borrowed on your behalf from another Library. Our Interlibrary Loan staff will take it from there!

You will be notified by Saskatchewan Polytechnic email when it is available for pick up. This process usually takes 5 to 7 days to arrive.

Requests for articles are usually filled within 2-3 business days and are delivered electronically via email.

Students may submit a maximum of 10 per research project. The requested materials should be related to their course of study. Faculty and staff members may submit an unlimited number of requests relating to their area of teaching or research.
