How do I borrow library materials?

Answer

If you DO have a Saskatchewan Polytechnic ID card (student or staff), you can use it to borrow items from the library.

If you DO NOT have a Saskatchewan Polytechnic ID card, you can use your government issued photo ID (e.g., driver’s license, passport) to borrow items from the library.

If you DO NOT have a government issued photo ID, you must print and present your Enrolment Verification. To do this:

  • Go to mySaskPolytech
  • Select Student Home > scroll to the Enrolment Services box> Enrolment Verification. Once the letter is requested, it will be generated in the "Electronic Letters" folder in mySaskPolytech (go to Menu-> Applicant-> myElectronicLetters).

**Please note that your document may not show up in the "Electronic Letters" folder in mysaskpolytech immediately as the system runs every hour on the hour (example: if you put through your request at 1:30 pm check back at 2:00 pm for your document).**

This document, along with a piece of government-issued (non-photo) ID such as your Saskatchewan health card, will confirm your identity as a Sask Polytech student and can be used to borrow items from the library.
