Where can I find a quiet place to study?

Answer

If you're looking for a place to study quietly and avoid noisy distractions, feel free to make use of the following silent study spaces:

Study Pods:

Study pods are an enclosed sound proof cube where students can study without distraction. There are no bookings for study pods and they are used on a first come first serve basis.

Saskatoon Main: 1 small pod located in the library and 1 large pod located at Henri's student lounge.

Saskatoon Ave W: 1 located in Learning services room #2213.

Prince Albert: 1 small and 1 large pod located in the library.

Regina: 1 small pod located in the student lounge and 1 large pod in Learning Services (Library).

Moose Jaw: 1 small pod in Learning Services and 1 large pod in the student lounge.

Study Rooms:

Study rooms are larger rooms for single person or group use. They are not soundproof. Available during regular Library hours.

Saskatoon, Prince Albert and Regina Library study rooms can be booked online under the section "bookable spaces."

Please note that students can have 2 active bookings at a time and spaces can be booked up to one week in advance. Bookings are a maximum of 2 hours. If you need longer, please speak with library staff at the front desk.

Moose Jaw Library does not have study rooms, just study carrells in the library.

Saskatoon Avenue W. Location

There are several options for quiet study at Avenue W.

  1. Computer lab - ask about availability. May be in use for a class.
  2. Board room - ask about availability.
  3. Study room - available for single students or small groups
  4. Study pod - located in Learning Services room #2213

Booking ahead is recommended for both the board room and the study room. Contact Ave. W. Library.
